MALDEN, Mo. -- Carmelita Crawford Smith, 78, of Steele, Mo., formerly of Malden, Mo., died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, at Rivers Oaks Care Center in Steele. She was born Aug. 12, 1933, at Malden.
She was a secretary at Malden Fruit Market until it closed. She later became an Avon and Stanley product sales representative. On Nov. 3, 1970, She was married to Roy Lee "Johnny" Smith at Kennett, Mo. He preceded her in death on March 16, 1997.
She is survived by many friends.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. in Bradshaw Funeral Home chapel with Mr. Bill Hampton officiating Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery near Clarkton.SClB
