EMINENCE, Mo. -- Tanner Wilkins drove in six runs on four hits, Jesse Holmes had five RBIs on three hits and the Clearwater baseball team scored at least three runs in every inning on its way to a dominant 29-7 season-opening victory over Eminence Monday.
The Tigers took advantage of five first-inning walks and got seven more hits, including a triple off the bat of Wilkins as part of a 10-run first inning.
Jackson Eaton, Jesse Holmes, Gage Keller, Parker Montgomery, Trey Rivas and Wilkins each doubled while 13 players had RBIs, including Heath Ayers, Christian DeGroff and Gage Keller, who each had two. Trey Rivas knocked in three more runs and went 4 for 6 and all but two players had at least one hit.
Twin Rivers 13, Holcomb 2
Tanner Ledbetter slapped a pair of singles and drove in three runs as the Royals mercy-ruled the Hornets at home.
Zac Hardin also doubled in a pair of runs while Jackson Siebert drew three walks and had an RBI double. Hardin and Preston Martin combined on a three-hitter.
Neelyville 7, Advance 3
Jesse Griffin hit a home run for the second consecutive game, a solo shot, and Carter Petty's triple gave Neelyville a lead it never relinquished.
Austin Ennis had a two-run single and walked with the bases loaded in the fifth inning.
Chaney Trout added the Tigers' final hit and went the distance to get the pitching win for Neelyville (2-0).
Naylor 4, Senath-Hornersville 3
Down by a run in the bottom of the seventh, Chance Smith sent a hard-hit groundball back up the middle to give the Eagles a walk-off win.
Trailing 3-1 heading into the final inning, Caleb Urich scored on freshman Cody Jones' base hit to center. Eli Roarke reached on a fielder's choice two batters later and Jordan Cook drew a walk to load the bases for Smith.
Roarke, Smith, Chase Sarabia and Jones each had one hit for the Eagles (1-2).
Softball
East Carter 9, Doniphan 5
Shelby Cyr smashed a three-run home run and finished with four RBIs to lead the Redbirds on the road.
Brooklyn Loftis went 3 for 4 with a run batted in, Audrey Carter was 2 for 3 and Naomi Crowley, Kennedy Theis, Maddyson Holoway and Makenna Moore each added a hit for East Carter (1-1).
Timberly Masching, Lexi Day and Karlee Harder each had RBIs for Doniphan (0-1).
VOLLEYBALL
Twin Rivers 2, S.Pemiscot 0

Hannah Phillips had 18 assists and was 7 for 7 on serves for the Royals. Catey Hester had 11 of 12 digs with one ace while Britni Wyrick had eight digs and was a perfect 4 for 4 serving. Brooke Blume had 10 digs, four kills and two aces, and Katelyn South had 12 kills. Hannah Finley was 8 for 9 serving with an ace and two kills.
Dexter 2, Arcadia Valley 0 (25-12, 25-16)
Hannah Thurmon led the Lady Bearcats with eight kills, four blocks and two aces in their season opener at Arcadia Valley.
Maycie Martin added four kills and and three blocks while Addie Kruse got three. Setter Bailee Williams finished with 13 assists.
Defensively, Blair Rogers led Dexter with five digs. Kruse had five, and both Williams and Thurmon had four.

Dexter 9, Sikeston 0
The Lady Bearcat roster lost just four games in the entire meet.
In coach Jenni Rinehart's debut with the team, and facing her alma mater, Dexter swept Sikeston in four individual matches and one doubles. Nobody lost more than one game.
Top seed Morgan Aldrich, No. 4 Jadyn Northcutt, No. 5 Abby Dorton and No. 6 Malia Cook all went 8-0.
Nicole Sells, at No. 2, and No. 3 Rachel Singh won 8-1.
In doubles, Singh and Cook won 8-0 in No. 3 doubles. Adrich and Northcutt lost one game in the top doubles spot. Sells and Dorton did the same at No. 2.
