Westwood Hills Country Club defended its SEMO Cup Match Play title, defeating Kimbeland Country Club of Jackson, 130-110 in the final Sunday.
Westwood Hills was represented by Ben Brumitt, David Gilmore, Bobby Godwin, Adam Ivie, Mike Ivie, Neil Pullum, Billy Pyland, Derek Rahlmann, Jake Robertson, John Shock, Brad Theilemeir and Jimmy Vernon. Jerrod Murphy, Zack Stricker and Carr Vernon played in earlier matches.
The format featured six better-ball, six alternate-shot and 12 singles matches with each none-hole match worth 10 points.
Westwood Hills defeated Dalhousie Golf Club 150-90 in the semifinal after beating Cape Girardeau Country Club 139-101 in an earlier match.
The club will next attempt to defend its title at the SEMO Cup Medal Play event Oct. 14 at Crown Pointe Golf Course in Farmington.
