BROSELEY -- Katelyn South moved into third place in all-time scoring at Twin Rivers with 20 points in a 68-59 loss to Alton.

South, who is signed to play at Three Rivers next year, now has 1,568 points for her career and passed her coach Kelly Westerfield on the list.

South had 15 points in the second half after Twin Rivers (15-10) had a slow start with only four points in the first quarter.

The Lady Royals were down by 10 points at halftime and by 12 going into the fourth qurater.

Abbey Hester added 12 points.

Woodland 61,

Greenville 50, 2OT

The Bears rallied from eight points down at halftime to force double overtime, but gave up 14 points in the final frame in the loss.

Beth Bangert led Greenville (10-12) with 16 points. Tristin Porter had 10.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Naylor 53, Gideon 46

Zeke Ward led the Eagles with 22 points, 15 of it in the second half. Ward was 5 for 6 on free throws, all in the second half.

Caleb Urich was 3 for 5 at the line in the fourth quarter and finished with 11 points. Jordan Cook also had 11. Naylor (9-12) was down a point going into the fourth quarter, then had its best offensive quarter with 19 points, six of that on free throws.

"Jordan came up with a huge 3-pointer and three enormous blocks in the fourth quarter to help solidify the win," Naylor coach Jim Carrier said.

Van Buren 71, Winona 67

Hayden Towner had 25 points as the Bulldogs held off Winona in the fourth quarter. Conner Jackson added 15, including 12 pointso n 3-pointers.

Van Buren led by nine going into the fourth quarter and went 5 for 10 on free throws in the fourth.

Towner had eight points in the fourth and Jackson got six.

Twin Rivers 51,

Bloomfield 38

Hayden Thomas led the Royals (13-12) with 16 points while Jamie Robards got 13 and Zach Hargraves got 12.

Travis McCullough led Bloomfield (8-12) with 14 points and Gage McNeil had 10.

Clarkton 74, East Carter 70

Lee Matney led the Reindeer with 26 points and Layne Morgan added 22.

Clarkton rallied from six points down going into the fourth quarter to win. Matney and Morgan scored 23 of Clarkton's 27 points int he final quarter.

Lane Chilton led east Carter with 31 points and Dalton Rudd had 12.
