Twin Rivers found just enough offense late to rally against Greenville in the opening round of the Ozark Foothills Conference Tournament. Aaron Middlestadt scored twice and Allen Hendrix had two RBIs as the No. 5 seed Royals (6-9) won 3-1 at Three Rivers College to advance to the semifinals against top seed Clearwater today at 1 p.m. at Three Rivers College.

Jack Becker scored in the bottom of the first inning off Jason Bratton's single to give No. 4 Greenville the early lead. The score held until the fifth inning, when Middlestadt and Montana Kendle each scored. Middlestadt later added an insurance run in the top of the seventh.

Preston Martin pitched 6 2/3 innings in the win and allowed five hits and a walk with nine strikeouts.

Toby Eudaley pitched four innings for Greenville (10-7) in the loss and allowed six hits with no walks and three strikeouts.
