CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. --The Poplar Bluff Piranhas swim team finished fifth Saturday at the season-ending Southeast Missouri Swim Conference Championships.

Paige Bradley had the lone event win for the Piranhas, taking the 50-yard freestyle in the 15-18 age division. It was among 52 top-10 individual finishes for Poplar Bluff, which scored 1,700 points.

River City Aquatics won the team title with 5,958.5 points, nearly 1,300 ahead of Kennett. Farmington was third followed by Cape County, 82.5 points ahead of the Piranhas in the 11-team meet.

Bradley won her race by 0.57 of a second and featured a AA-time of 26.08. She also had an A-time of 57.78 in the 100 freestyle for third and was fourth in the 100 butterfly in a B-time of 1:10.19.

Time standards are set for swimmers in every age group from B and BB to A and AA up to elite-level AAAA.

Gavin Vaughn finished second in the 13-14 age 200-individual medley race by 0.14 of a second with a BB-time of 2:25.55. He also placed second in the butterfly with a BB-time of 1:05.95 and was third in the backstroke with a B-time of 1:09.78.

Trinity Tuggle placed second in the 11-12 age division 50 breaststroke with a BB-time of 39.13 seconds. She also had a BB-time of 30.61 for fourth in the 50 freestyle and a B-time of 1:18.6 for fourth in the 100 IM.

Tegan Kassing finished third in the 9-10 age division 50 butterfly in a B-time of 41.6 seconds and had a BB-time of 1:018.07 in the 100 freestyle for fourth. Kassing also finished third in the IM with a B-time of 1:32.57.

Swimmers that picked up points for the Piranhas also included, by age division:

Ramiz Mizra placed third in the breaststroke, fourth in the 25 freestyle and fifth in the butterfly.

Dakota Collins finished fourth in the 50 freestyle and sixth in the 25 freestyle.

Forrest Huck placed 15th in the backstroke and 20th in the 25 freestyle.

Parker Hays finished 19th in the backstroke.

Hays, Huck, Mizra and Matt Pestillos placed seventh in the 100-freestyle really.

Samiya Anders placed fifth in the 100 freestyle in 1:27.31 (B-time) and eighth in both the 50 freestyle 0:38.4 (B) and breaststroke 0:49.62 (B).

Tangant Tuggle finished sixth in the breaststroke at 0:46.62 (BB) and the IM at 1:36.55 (B) while placing seventh in the 100 freestyle at 1:28.66 (B).

Maclaren Moore was eighth in the butterfly and ninth in both the backstroke and IM.

Kiera Willis finished 11th in the backstroke, 13th in the 100 freestyle and 19th in the 50 freestyle.

Carly Cisne finished 14th in the 100 freestyle, 17th in the 50 and 18th in the breaststroke.

Moore, Anders, Willis and Cameron Huck placed fifth in 100-freestyle relay and the 100-medley relay.

Tristan Morgan placed 14th in the backstroke.

Tangant Tuggle, Faith McCollough, Audrie Caudel and Trinity Tuggle placed sixth in 200-freestyle relay.

McCollough was 14th in 100 freestyle, 19th in 50 and 14th in the butterfly while Caudel was 16th in the backstroke.

Andrew Rubi, Cyrus Sagharichi, Owen McDaniel and Carson Todd placed fourth in the 200-freestyle relay and the 200-medley relay.

Todd finished fourth in the 50-freestyle at 0:30.79 (B), the breaststroke and the IM.

Rubi was sixth in the 100 freestyle, eighth in the butterfly and 11th in the breaststroke.

McDaniel placed eighth in breaststroke, 12th in the IM and 14th in the 100 freestyle.

Sagharichiwas 11th in the 50 freestyle and the butterfly and finished 13th in the IM.

Madison Pennington, Addison Kirkman, Sha'Re Phelps and Olivia Kirkman were second in the 200-medley relay while Pamela Lagura, Pennington and the Kirkmans were third in the 200-freestyle relay.

Olivia Kirkman finished fourth in the 50 freestyle at 0:28.82 (BB), fourth in the butterfly at 1:15.94 (B) and seventh in the 200 IM.

Addison Kirkman finished seventh in the breaststroke, ninth in the backstroke and IM.

Pennington was sixth in the 100 freestyle, eighth in the 50 freestyle at 0:32.18 (B) and 10th in the backstroke.

Lagura finished 11th in both the 100 freestyle and backstroke and was 12th in the breaststroke.

Jackson Moore, Christian Todd, Vaughn and Kastin Caudel were third in the 200-medley relay while Roddy Baz, Darius Sagharichi, Elijah McAtee and Bryson Washington were seventh.

Vaughn, McAtee, Moore and Caudel were fourth in the 200-freestyle relay while Todd, Bryson Washington, Baz and Sagharichi were eighth.

Caudel finished seventh in the 50 freestyle at 0:27.88 (BB), ninth in the backstroke and 10th in the 100 freestyle.

Jackson Moore was eighth in the 100 freestyle at 1:04.63 (B), eighth in the backstroke and ninth in the IM.

McAtee placed eighth in the IM, 10th in the backstroke and 14th in the 100 freestyle.

Todd finished ninth in the breaststroke and 12th in the IM.

Baz was 15th in the breaststroke while Sagharichi was 16th.

Jessica Rush, Simona Anders, Carly Wiseman and Bradley were second in the 200-freestyle relay and the 200-medley relay.

Wiseman finished fifth in the backstroke, seventh in the IM and eighth in the butterfly.

Anders was seventh in the breaststroke at 1:24.98 (B), 10th in the 50 freestyle at 0:30.35 (B) and 12th in the 100 freestyle at 1:09.36 (B).

Rush was 11th in the 100 freestyle at 1:07.72 (B), 11th in the backstroke and 15th in the breaststroke.

Skyler Zitnak finished 11th in the backstroke and the IM.
