BONNE TERRE, Mo. --Poplar Bluff's girls ran away with the team title at the North County Raider Invitational, winning 9 of 11 running events Wednesday for a 35-point win.

Krisman Eakin, Katie Sliger and Khelie Spence each won two individual races while also helping Poplar Bluff to three relay wins.

The Mules, meanwhile, won six events as Wyatt Murphy took the 100 meters and high jump while running on two winning relays. Festus, however, topped Poplar Bluff in the team standings by 37.5 points.

Kaylee Eakin won the long jump by 3 inches while Paige Bradley matched the winning height of 4-feet, 10-inches in the high jump but took more attempts to place second. Bradley was third in the 400 just 0.83 of a second behind the winner. Shelby Sievers placed second in the shot and discus throws.

Poplar Bluff beat Seckman 161-126 for the girls title while the boys scored 150 points, 29 ahead of Seckman but behind the 187.5 scored by Festus.

Makarius Bell won the shot by 4 inches with a throw of 47-5 and was third in the discus at 128-4 with teammate RaShawn McCain second at 134-1. McCain placed third in the shot at 45-6.5.

Isaiah Johnson was second in both hurdle events, running the 110 in 16.62 seconds and the 300 in 42.05, but following Jacob Pauly across the finish line both times. Rufus Ward was third in both events for the Mules. Brett Barousse cleared 12 feet to tie for second in the pole vault.

Murphy won the 100 in 11.39 seconds and cleared 5-10 to win the high jump. The senior also ran a leg on the winning 400 and 1600 relays.

Murphy, Johnson, Barousse and Colby Tomlinson won the 400 relay in 44.69. Tomlinson, Xzavier Bartlett, Chad Casey and Josiah Kilgore won the 800 relay in 1:36.3. Murphy, Bartlett, Johnson and Ward won the 1600 relay in 3:36.24.

Bradley, Secret Anderson-Buchanan, Katie Pattillo and Hailey Slaughter won the 400 relay in 53.2 while Krisman Eakin, Anderson-Buchanan, Pattillo and Bradley won the 800 relay in 1:53.46. Eakin, Spence, Sliger and Bradley won the 1600 relay in 4:27.48.

Krisman Eakin won the 100 in 12.82 and took the 200 in 26.61 while Sliger won the 800 in 2:34 and the 1600 in 5:39. Spence swept the hurdles, winning the 100 in 15.9 and the 300 in 51.44.

Pattillo was third in the 100 (13.76) and 200 (28.47) while Anderson-Buchanan was fourth in the long jump at 14-3. Katelyn Moeller was fourth in the 1600 and 3200 while Brooke Slayton was sixth in the 3200. Sierra Sievers placed eighth in the discus and ninth in the shot.

Kilgore was third in the 100 at 11.81 while Tomlinson finished third in the 200 at 24.65. Jaden Deaton placed third in the 1600 at 4:45 and ran a leg on the 3200 relay with Tyler Cline, Dylan Cisne and Trenton Davis for third. Rodney Houston placed third in the triple jump while Casey was fourth.
