ST. LOUIS — Fresh off of wrapping up the top seed in the Region XVI Tournament, one might have thought the Three Rivers College women's basketball team would have let up.
Wrong.
The Lady Raiders dominated the host St. Louis Archers from tip to buzzer, rolling to a 129-44 win over the NJCAA Division II school on the Forest Park campus of St. Louis Community College.
TRC (22-2) led 31-5 after the opening period and 74-16 at the intermission, then took a 106-32 lead to the fourth quarter.
Nine Lady Raiders scored in double figures on Monday, led by 19 points off the bench from Jasmine Davis. Kamille Brown and Kaleigh Thompson each had 15 points, while Brittani Wells added 13, Emma Toombs and Lexi Weaver each had 12, Courtney Bluitt contributed 11 and the duo of Yannie Flemings and Bramyia Johnson finished with 10 apiece.
Thompson and Flemings had 12 and 10 rebounds, respectively, to finish with double-doubles, while Toombs added eight boards. Wells had nine assists and four steals, while Brown had six assists and three steals and four players — Weaver, Thompson, Bluitt and Johnson — each had two steals.
