HOLCOMB -- A seven-run third inning and 13 hits powered Greenville past Holcomb Friday afternoon for a 14-0 win. Tye Huff did it all for the Bears, tossing a no hitter on the mound and driving in three runs at the plate to match Jason Bratton for the team lead. Huff struck out nine batters, walking just two in his five innings on the mound. Greenville left six stranded on base while Holcomb stranded one runner.
East Carter 6 Winona 5
A walk-off sacrifice fly from Jordan Douglas that scored Dalton Rudd in the bottom of the seventh inning lifted East Carter past Winona. East Carter overcame three errors to capture the late victory. Rudd and Tommy Baldridge led East Carter with two hits apiece. Wyatt Elliot and Baldridge pitched four and three innings respectively. Both struck out three, and the pair combined to allow just six hits.
SOFTBALL
Salem 2 East Carter 4
A three-run first inning and a fourth inning insurance run were all East Carter needed to secure a win over Salem. Anna Willis led the Redbirds with two hits on three at-bats, and Makenna Moore pitched a complete game. Moore allowed just three hits and struck out nine. At the plate, she hit a double and eventually scored a run.
Saxony Lutheran 3
Twin Rivers 8
Every Twin Rivers player who recorded a hit also scored a run in its victory over Saxony Lutheran. Twin Rivers tallied 10 hits on the day, while the Crusaders recorded just five hits on 27 total plate appearances. Zoie Roth gave up eight hits and five earned runs to Twin Rivers in three innings before being relieved of her pitching duties. Despite those struggles, she struck out three on the day.

Greenville 6 Woodland 10
After trailing 5-1 early, the bats came alive in the third inning for Woodland as it scored seven runs in the frame to secure the win against Greenville. Karson Skinner, Rate Johnson and Dalton Boyer all recorded two hits to help Woodland erase the deficit. Johnson led the way with three RBIs in four at-bats. Alex Hicks had a forgettable day on the mound for Greenville, pitching three innings and allowing five earned runs on eight hits.

St. Paul Lutheran 8
A sixth-inning rally helped the Greenville Bears avoid a second consecutive loss Saturday. After trailing 8-4 entering the sixth, Greenville scored five runs in the comeback effort. A two-RBI double to center tied the game and a St. Paul-Lutheran error on a Jason Bratton grounder gave Greenville its first lead since the third inning, one it wouldn't relinquish. Tye Huff scored three runs and Jack Becker drove in three to help the Bears secure the win.
