ORAN, Mo. - The Malden Green Wave scorched the nets for 15 3-pointers during their lopsided, 102-40 first-round win over Richland during the Oran Invitational Tournament Monday at Oran High School.
Dushawn Butler led Malden's cause with 21 points, which featured five 3-pointers. Broddric Annesser added 19 while Chience Booker sunk five 3-pointers for 15 points.
Second-seeded Malden will take on No. 3 Advance, who defeated sixth-seeded Kelly 83-24, Thursday at 8 p.m., in a semifinal.
Daniel Petty led Richland (0-1) with 18 points.
The seventh-seeded Rebels will play Kelly in a consolation semifinal tonight at 7:30 p.m.
East Carter 75, Summersville 38
Eli Fuller led the Redbirds with 17, followed by Lane Chilton and Cody Hampton with 13 and Dalton Rudd added 11.

Josh Ellenburg led the top-seeded Mules (1-0) with 22 points. He sank three 3-pointers in the first quarter and four in the first half before not making a field goal in the fourth quarter.
Michael Suiter added 10 points and eight Mules got at least one field goal in the blowout win.
Noah Hobbs led Holcomb (0-1) with 12 points. After scoring 13 points in the first quarter, the Hornets were held to six or fewer points in the other three quarters and had six total field goals after the first quarter.
Risco 75, Campbell 45
Nathan Burnett had 25 points to lead No. 2 Risco, 22 of that in the first half. Morgan Ludwig added 18 points and Tresdon Meese had 14 as Risco led 42-18 at the half. Robert Hirts had 14 points to lead No. 7 Campbell (0-1).
