Tied at 3 in the bottom of the seventh, Anna Willis connected on an infield hit to drive in Naomi Crowley for the walk-off win in the MSHSAA Class 2 District 1 Tournament 4-3 over Twin Rivers on Friday at Three Rivers College.
East Carter will face district 2 winner Crocker (16-5) on Wednesday.
Crowley had a leadoff walk to start the inning, Elizabeth Crowley walked behind her and then they stole second and third.
With a 1-1 count, Willis then came through for the win.
Twin Rivers (7-8) took a 1-0 lead in the first inning after Bella Galloway singled to center to drive in Abbey Hester.
Twin Rivers pitcher Allie Kacynski held East Carter scoreless through four innings, but the Redbirds then put up three runs in the fifth.
With runners on second and third with one out, Elizabeth Crowley laid down a bunt single to score Kennedy Thies and tie the game.
Naomi Crowley scored on an error to give East Carter the lead and then Elizabeth Crowley stole home to make it 3-1.
The Royals then put together a two-out rally to tie it in the top of the seventh. Samantha McMahon singled with two outs to start things for the Royals, Erin Inman reached on an error, and Jenny Casteel drew a walk to load the bases.
Katie Deken then drew another walk to put the tying run on third and Hester singled to left to tie it up.
Moore allowed five hits and two walks with five strikeouts in the complete-game win for East Carter (23-5).
Kacynski allowed four hits and four walks with three strikeouts.
