BERNIE -- Bernie's Nate Dillinger hit a 3-pointer in the waning seconds to lift the Mules to a 60-59 win over visiting Oran on Tuesday night.

The Mules outscored Oran 21-11 in the third quarter to take a 51-42 lead into the fourth where they held off a late charge. Oran held a 17-9 scoring advantage in the fourth quarter.

Blake Harty, who sank six 3-pointers, paced Bernie with 20 points, Michael Suiter had 18 and Dillinger scored 17.

Oran's Jacob Shoemaker scored a game-high 27 points.

Naylor 51, Campbell 37

Jordan Cook had 21 points and Zeke Ward got 20 for the Eagles.

"Our leaders really stepped up tonight and did what was needed," Naylor coach Jim Carrier said. "Jordan and Zeke attacked and hit big shots, while also playing well defensively. Caleb Urich never gets enough credit for what he does on the floor. He did a tremendous job defensively and kept everyone corralled and in place on offense. Without him, we wouldn't be where we are."

Naylor held Campbell to seven points in the first half, but scored just nine itself before both teams picked it up in the second half.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Hayti led 14-13 after one quarter, but the Camels rallied to take a 25-23 halftime lead. They held a 13-8 scoring edge in the third quarter.
