KELLY -- Doniphan scored a run in the second inning and two in the fifth. Each time, Kelly had an answer, matching each run. Then the sixth inning arrived Madison Eddington was walked to start the side and stole second shortly after. Kaylee Davis drove in Eddington -- the winning run -- on the next at-bat with a double to left field, putting the Donettes in position to come away with a 4-3 win on the road.

Fredericktown scored all six of its runs in the third inning on the way to a win to even out its record at 3-3. During the inning, the Lady Cats capitalized on a pair of Van Buren errors to score two of their runs. The other four came from RBI singles from Kylee Bastie, Alivia Clark, and a two-RBI single from Mackenzie Phillips to cap the scoring.
