Mary Rimer celebrates 95th birthday

Longtime Butler County resident, Mary Rimer, recently celebrated her 95th birthday quietly, with family and friends.

Born and raised in Indiana, Mrs. Rimer and her late husband, James, settled in the Poplar Bluff area to raise their family. Together, they raised three children; the late Judy Clark, Jimmy Rimer and Joyce Ingle, both of Florida. Mrs. Rimer also has three grandchildren; Larry Clark and Teresia Buxton, of Florida and Debbie Tinker of Poplar Bluff, as well as several great grandchildren.

She attended Westside Church of God and enjoys taking walks outside, playing Bingo and especially loves her family.
