To the Editor:

The week of April 9-15, 2017, had been set by Congress as National Public Safety Telecommunications Week to honor those emergency dispatchers that serve the public needs. I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude to the businesses that donated items to be used to recognize those that work as Police and Fire dispatchers for the City of Poplar Bluff. Thanks to these wonderful businesses we were able to celebrate the week with a variety of refreshments and contest prizes. Without their help this would not have been possible.

Thank you to ... Kyle's Car Wash, Buffalo Wild Wings, McDonald's, Triple B's, Medic One, Sonic, Bread and Butter, Air Evac and Butler County EMS.
