Wilma Darlene Perren, 71, of Harviell, Missouri, went to be with her Lord in the presence of her family on June 23, 2021, in Sikeston, Missouri, following a struggle with cancer. Wilma Darlene Perren, 71, of Harviell, Missouri, went to be with her Lord in the presence of her family on June 23, 2021, in Sikeston, Missouri, following a struggle with cancer.

Darlene was one of the most joyful people you could ever know. She always made others feel welcome and cared for. She will be greatly missed.

Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, former husband and two brothers, two sisters and one stepson.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Thomas Perren, of Harviell; her son, Christopher (Michaela) James; grandchildren, Alyssa, Connor and Mason James of O’Fallon, Missouri; sister, Lyda Mathis of O’Fallon, Missouri; brother, Ernest (Lynn) Maxwell of Rolla, Missouri and James (Pat) Maxwell of St. James, Missouri; stepchildren, Melody (Chris) Powell of Downingtown, Pennsylvania, Tracy Perren of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Lori (CJ) Monzyk of Davenport, Iowa, as well as 10 stepgrandchildren and seven stepgreat-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held to honor Darlene’s life on Saturday, July 23 at 11 a.m. at Living Word Baptist Church on Township Line Road, in Poplar Bluff, donations may be made to Roberts Cemetery.
