NEELYVILLE, Mo. — Bill Franklin, 84, of Harviell, Mo., died May 11, 2019 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 16 at 6 p.m. at the Fowler & Sons Funeral Home. The funeral will be on Thursday, May 17 at 11 a.m. with Donnie Fowler officiating.

NEELYVILLE, Mo. — William "Bill" Andrew Franklin, 84, of Harviell, Mo., passed away on May 11, 2019 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Franklin was born on Aug. 24, 1934 in Poplar Bluff. He worked for Harts Furniture as a painter and was a member of the Pilgrims Rest Church. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends, quail hunting, watching deer and working on automobiles.

On September 4, 1955, Bill married Ina Sue Moore in Lone Hill, Mo. She preceded him in death on Saturday, September 16, 2017.

Survivors include, two daughters, Anita Norman and husband Charlie of Harviell, Amy Lane of Marble Hill; two sons, Bill Franklin and wife Kathleen of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Andy Franklin and wife Kathy of St. Charles, Mo.; one son-in-law, Noel Miller of Advance; one sister, Vada Swan of Pocahontas, Ark.; one brother, David Franklin of Poplar Bluff.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Anna Lorraine Miller; parents, Charles Franklin and Lillie Sackett Franklin; two sisters, Rosemary McBride and Daisy Sweeza; as well as three brothers, Kenneth Franklin, Johnny Franklin and Hartford Franklin.

Visitation will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 at the Fowler & Sons Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16 with Donnie Fowler officiating. Burial will be at Lone Hill Cemetery near Poplar Bluff.
