Wanda Loveta King, 93 of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at her residence in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Wanda, daughter of Jerry and Opal Snider Loafman, was born Monday, Dec. 3, 1928 in Campbell, Missouri.

She was a housewife and a member of the Bethany General Baptist Church in Campbell.

On Jan. 26, 1947 in Piggott, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Harold King. He preceded her in death June 15, 2005.

Her survivors include one daughter, Debbie McKuin of Poplar Bluff; two grandchildren, Derek McKuin and wife, Marsha, and Chad McKuin and wife, Nisa, all of Poplar Bluff; three great-grandchildren, David McKuin, Jarett McKuin and Jordynn McKuin; two sisters, Betty Brown and husband, Dawsey Lee, of Malden and Beaulah Cox of Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Shawana McKuin; two sisters, Loeta Howe and Rosalie Lee Brown; one brother, Jeff Loafman; and son-in-law, Phil McKuin.

Visitation will begin at noon, Monday, May 23, at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with funeral services beginning at 1 p.m., at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bryan Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Malden.

Landess Funeral Home of Malden will be in charge of the arrangements.
