Virginia 'Gini' Johnson

QULIN, Mo. — Virginia ‘Gini’ Johnson, age 73, of Poplar Bluff, died Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Cedar Gate Healthcare in Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Johnson was born Tuesday, February 26, 1946 in Chicago, Ill., daughter of the late Raymond and Katherine Albertini.

On December 3, 1964 she married Gary Johnson. He preceded her in death on January 12, 2015.

She is survived by one son, Brian Johnson & wife, Sherry of Broseley; two daughters, Tammy Collins of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Kathy McKenzie of Warrenton, Mo; two brothers, Kenneth Albertini & wife, Joan of Murphysboro, Ill. and Robert Albertini of Chicago, Ill.; nine grandchildren, Briana and Brittany Johnson, Logan, Maycee and Savannah Collins, David, Scott, Tabitha and Natasha Walters and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 31 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 1 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gene Riddle officiating. Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley, Mo.
