Johnny Douglas Webb, 76, of Poplar Bluff Missouri, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021, at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri.
He was born on June 13, 1945, to John Sherman Webb and Thelma Drew Webb in Poplar Bluff.
Johnny was a 1962 graduate of Qulin High School. He worked on the family farm for several years and then was a truck driver/transport driver through 2020.
Johnny was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3730 for many years and enjoyed his friendships and work that the Eagles supported. He enjoyed reading, playing cards, and in his younger years canoeing the local rivers.
He married Emily “Beth” Fuchs on June 11, 1963, and had two children, Sandy Webb Cunningham, and John Keith Webb.
Johnny is survived by one daughter, Sandy Webb Cunningham (Dan) of Dexter, Missouri; one son, John Keith Webb (Alicia) of Benton, Missouri; two granddaughters, Katelyn Webb and Haley Webb, of Benton; one grandson, Matthew Cunningham (Taylor) of Dexter; father, John Sherman Webb of Poplar Bluff; a sister, Jan Gill (Sam) of Dexter; a brother, Stanley Webb (Joyce) of Poplar Bluff; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Emily “Beth” Webb, and mother, Thelma Webb.
A private graveside memorial service will be held for family and close friends Nov. 27, 2021.
