MALDEN, Mo. — Troy Lee Weatherford, Jr., 90, of Malden died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018, in Gideon, Missouri.

Mr. Weatherford, the son of the late Troy Lee Weatherford, Sr. and Letha Johnson, was born Dec. 31, 1927, in Luray, Tennessee.

He was a member of the Bernie Nazarene Church in Bernie, Missouri. He retired from the Malden Pepsi Plant.

On May 31, 1953, in Piggott, Arkansas, he was united in marriage to Sue Poston. She preceded him in death Oct. 23, 2013.

He is survived by one daughter, Joy Miller and Terry of Malden; four grandchildren, Renae Miller of Bernie, Russell Miller and Whitney of Malden, Mimerly Miller of St. Louis, Missouri, Levin Miller and Amanda of Malden; two great-grandchildren, Addilyn Miller and Waylon Hankins and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Kent Weatherford; one sister, Margaret Rose Craig; and one brother, J.B. Weatherford.

A visitation will be held at noon Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Mr. James Powell officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
