Tony Rhodes, age 75, of Fisk, died Sunday, July 26, 2020, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Rhodes was born Jan. 1, 1945 in Qulin. Tony was a farmer and horseman. He enjoyed all aspects of raising and training horses. He enjoyed riding around sightseeing. He was a friend to many and would help them anyway he could. Tony Rhodes, age 75, of Fisk, died Sunday, July 26, 2020, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Rhodes was born Jan. 1, 1945 in Qulin.

Tony was a farmer and horseman. He enjoyed all aspects of raising and training horses. He enjoyed riding around sightseeing. He was a friend to many and would help them anyway he could. He attended Thousand Hills Cowboy Church at Fisk.

On Nov. 5, 1999, he married Rebecca Sandlin. She survives. Also surviving are three children: Vickie Moultree and James Ivan Rhodes, both of Imperial, Missouri, and Tony Douglas Rhodes of Qulin; his mother Wilma Rhodes of Fisk; three sisters: Ann Veatch and Sharon Davis, both of Poplar Bluff, and Ruby Geiser of Belleville, Illinois; one brother: Larry Rhodes of Bella Vista, Arkansas; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Rhodes, and two brothers-in-law: David Veatch and Tom Davis.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Thousand Hills Cowboy Church at Fisk. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. at the church with Rev. Kevin Murray officiating. Burial will be in Shain Memorial Cemetery at Fisk.

The use of face masks are encouraged by the family but not mandatory.
