VAN BUREN — Thomas Edward Foerster unexpectedly passed away in his sleep Wednesday, April 15, 2020.

Tom was born April 27, 1940, to the late Carl and Seaca (Pettit) Foerster. Tom grew up in Fremont, Missouri, before moving to St. Louis, later to Poplar Bluff, and then to Wappapello, Missouri. He was married to Carolyn Spencer (who survives).

Tom worked as a salesman for Whitte Hardware and Orgill Brothers Co. before retiring. Tom was an avid sportsman who loved wildlife and the outdoors. Those who knew him know he always had a good story to tell and enjoyed talking about the old times.

Surviving Tom are his wife Carolyn, and many cherished family and friends.

We say good-bye to Tom knowing we’ll see him again in his Heavenly Home. Rest in peace our friend.

Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2020, in the Poca Hollow Cemetery in Van Buren, Missouri.
