Thomas Castillo

Thomas Castillo, 77, of Wappapello died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Castillo was born Tuesday, June 2, 1942 in Nueveo Leon, Mexico to the late Thomas and Guadalupe Castillo. He was a member of New Home General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. On June 30, 1961 he married Doris Adams. She survives.

Also surviving is one son: Thomas Castillo Jr. of Elgin, Ill.; two daughters: Lisa Palmer of Arkansas, and Virginia Baumann of Wappapello; one brother: George Castillo of Elgin, Ill.; one sister: Maria Abitua of Elgin, Ill.; seven grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Alicia Cavazos and Anjelica Garcia.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2020 at New Home General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the church with Rev. Calvin Buhler officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2020 in Mounds Park Cemetery in New Madrid.
