Thelma Jean Colbert, 70 of Campbell, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Malden Nursing and Rehab Center in Malden, Missouri.

Thelma, daughter of J. B. Haynes and Dorothy Shrum Haynes Green, was born on Monday, Jan. 30, 1950 in Senath, Missouri.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the Shepherd’s Chapel Church in Gravette, Arkansas.

On April 12, 1969 in Campbell, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Wylie Joe Colbert, Sr. He preceded her in death on Nov. 16, 2011.

Her survivors include her mother, Dorothy Green and husband, Acy of Dexter; one son, Wylie Joe Colbert, Jr. and wife, Melinda of Campbell; one daughter, Teeca Lynch and husband, Bryan of Campbell; three grandchildren, Wylie Joe Colbert, III (Trey) of Campbell, Katelyn Lynch of Campbell, Colby Ford and husband, Lawson of Rector, Arkansas; three sisters, Shelby Lewis of Campbell, Diane McIntosh of Wappapello, Sheryl James of Jackson; one brother, Connie Haynes of Dexter.

She was preceded in death by her father, J. B. Haynes and one brother, Tony Haynes.

Private family service will be held with Brother Andy Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Elder Cemetery in Campbell.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
