MALDEN,Mo. -- Sue Ellen Shaw, 73, of Malden, Mo., was born on May 26, 1945 to Beulah Fulkerson Eaton and the late Warren Eaton in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She departed this life on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018 at her residence in Malden.
Sue had been an Elementary School Teacher and a Junior High School Counselor for the Malden School System. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Malden where she taught Sunday School. Sue was a member of the quilters guild. She always loved to sew and do quilting. On March 30, 1962 in Bloomfield, Mo. she was united in marriage to Michael W. Shaw. He survives of the home in Malden.
Her other survivors include: son: Michael Shaw & wife, Cindy of Trenton, Ill.; daughter: Brooke Ellen Hartsfield and husband, Clay of Malden, Mo.; four grandchildren: Marshal Shaw and wife, Jessica of Shiloh, Ill., Tyler Shaw and wife, Cassie of St. Louis, Mo., Jessica Ellen Hartsfield of Malden, Mo. and Lacey Winchester sand husband, Tommy of Malden, Mo.; four great-grandchildren: Norah Sue Shaw, Cymber Arnold, Camille, Bree and Isaac Winchester. Mother: Beulah Eaton of Bloomfield, Mo.; sisters: Nancy Croom and husband, Dow of Dexter, Mo. and Becky Hall of Bloomfield, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her father: Warren Eaton..
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2018 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Malden. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16 , 2018 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Malden with Reverend Aulden LeBlanc officiating.
Interment will be in the Rosewood First Addition Cemetery in Malden. Landess Funeral Home of Malden in charge of the arrangements.
