Sheri Ann Gilmore, 39, of Neelyville, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017 at her residence.
She was born Aug. 30, 1978 to Jeff and Cassie (Atwell) Gilmore in Goldsboro, N.C. Sheri graduated from Neelyville High School in 1996. She was baptized and a member of the Neelyville United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed working as an EMT for the Naylor/Neelyville Ambulance District before becoming disabled. Sheri liked lawn mower racing, NASCAR (especially Jeff Gordon), and sitting around bonfires listening to Toby Keith. Most of all she loved playing with her nephews and her dog, Bella. She was excessively proud of Alex and her academic accomplishments.
Sheri is survived by her daughter, Alexandra (River Hatton) Gilmore of Neelyville, Mo.; her parents, Cassie Gilmore of Neelyville, Mo. and Jeff Gilmore of Corning, Ark.; her brother, Jeffrey (Misty) Gilmore and their sons, Hunter, Hank, and Hestin all of Neelyville, Mo.; her grandparents, Johnny and Dorothy Atwell of Neelyville, Mo., Don Gilmore of Neelyville, Mo., and Norma Gilmore of Little Rock, Ark.; and her great-grandmother, Earline Atwell of Poplar Bluff, Mo.
She was preceded in death by one uncle, Terry Gilmore; and her great-grandparents, Nathaniel Atwell, John and Purma Hover, Leonard and Velma Gilmore, and Gracie Cox.
Visitation will be held from 4-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017 at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following visitation at 5 p.m. in the Moore Funeral Service Chapel with Bobby Brooks officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in her name.
