Sharon Sue Bruce, 71, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
She was born on Nov. 6, 1945 to Lonnie and Gertrude (Anderson) Simpson in Flint, Mich. She graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1963. On Nov. 30, 1963, she married Gary in Poplar Bluff.
Sharon enjoyed sewing and quilt making, cooking, and baking.
Sharon is survived by her loving spouse of 53 years, Gary; four children, Kimberly (DeWayne) Adams of Wright City, Mo., Brian (Barb) Bruce of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Shonda (Michael) Arellanes of Foristell, Mo., and Chad Bruce of Poplar Bluff; eight grandchildren, Mykaela Arellanes, Lunden Bruce, Daytin Bruce, Cheree (Noah) Bradley, Tosha Adams and fiancé Jake Reiter, Colten Arellanes, Logan Arellanes, Stephen Adams; four great-grandchildren, Kaylin, Taylor, Chase, and Gabriel Bradley; three siblings, Diane (Don) Roberts of Farmington, Mo., Judy Simpson of Poplar Bluff, and Roger Simpson of Poplar Bluff; one sister-in-law, Shirley Simpson of Poplar Bluff; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Dick Simpson.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff.
Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation at 11 am in the Moore Funeral Chapel. Burial will take place in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
