Sharon Kay Butler, 74, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021. She was born April 16, 1946 in Malden to the late Luther Emerson Brown and Hazel Irene (Waddle) Brown. She was of the Baptist faith. She married Bobby Wayne Butler in May 16, 1964 in Malden. She was a lively lady, enjoying singing and dancing, active in the Ladies Auxiliary VFW in Farmington, Mo. as well as caring for her family in the home...

Sharon Kay Butler, 74, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021. She was born April 16, 1946 in Malden to the late Luther Emerson Brown and Hazel Irene (Waddle) Brown. She was of the Baptist faith.

She married Bobby Wayne Butler in May 16, 1964 in Malden. She was a lively lady, enjoying singing and dancing, active in the Ladies Auxiliary VFW in Farmington, Mo. as well as caring for her family in the home.

Sharon is survived by one son, Eric Butler (Kandace) of Poplar Bluff; two daughters, Shanda Courtney (Lloyd) of Sullivan, Mo. and Latanya Butler-White of Steelville, Mo.; four brothers, Gerald Brown (Dee) of Lawton, Okla., Mike Brown (Sharon) of Dexter, Jimmy Brown (Beth) of Nebraska and Ricky Brown; three sisters, Levedia Burke of Arnold, Mo., Carolyn Bedwell of Malden and Charlotte Clifton (John) of Bloomsdale, Mo, and her loving companion, Lonnie Cradic as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Bryan K. Butler; three sisters, Betty Cunningham, Sandra Brown and Opal Redus; four brothers, Bobby Brown, Jerry Brown, Melvin Brown and Baby Richard Brown.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 23 in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington, Mo. with Rev. Lloyd Courtney officiating. Masks and social distancing are recommended.
