POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. — Ryan Hutson, 36, of Poplar Bluff, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019 in rural Butler County.
He was born on April 9, 1982 to Bruce and Tonya (Boatwright) Hutson in Farmington, Mo. Ryan graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 2000 and graduated from Three Rivers College and later Southwest Missouri State University (Missouri State) in Springfield, Mo. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Conservation and Management.
On May 14, 2005 he married Becky Massie at The First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff where he and his family are still members. He loved the Lord and worshipping with his family.
Ryan started Bustin’ Beaks Guide Service with his brother in the fall of 2005. His love for the outdoors and hunting made their business a huge success. In his guide service he touched the lives of people all over the United States, several supported him with repeat visits since the beginning of the business. He was also very passionate about Bass fishing and was a member of the Wappapello Bass Circuit and US Angler’s Choice. Ryan is known as being a competitive and talented angler. His all-time favorite activity was turkey hunting with his wife, daughter, brother, father, his Uncle Steve and all the Stockton gang.
He was a loving and tender-hearted person who had great honesty, integrity and loyalty. Ryan enjoyed coaching his sons baseball teams and attending his daughters soccer games. Most of all, he loved his wife, children, and family. His children were his greatest accomplishment.
Ryan is survived his wife, Becky Hutson; children, Addison Jayne and Drake Alan Andrew Hutson; parents, Bruce and Tonya Hutson; brother and best friend, Adam Hutson, all of Poplar Bluff; very special uncle, Steve Boatwright of Ironton, Mo.; cousins, Stephanie McIntosh of Spring, Texas and Branden Boatwright of Springfield, Ill.; and many close friends.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Virgil and Lee Boatwright and Bob and Betty Hutson; and his uncle, Rodney Boatwright.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019 in the First Baptist Church Sanctuary with friend and Pastor Brandon Spain and Dr. William Vail offciating. Burial will be in Arcadia Valley Memorial Park in Ironton, Mo.
