Ruth E. Dockery, age 76, of Bladenboro, North Carolina, died Thursday, April 15, 2021, at her residence. Ms. Dockery was born February 26, 1945, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, daughter of the late Elmer Chadd and Elsie Ann Armes.
She is survived by two sons, Robert (Laura) Dockery of Broseley and Ron (Mona) Dockery of Kevil, Kentucky; one daughter, Rhonda Griffin of White Lake, North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Robert Dockery Jr, Melissa Stephenson, Sarah, Amy and David Dockery, Cody Canter and Alyssa Griffin and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 21 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev Jim Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Essex Cemetery at Essex, Missouri.
