NEELYVILLE, Mo. -- Ruth Ann Pippin, 73, of Naylor, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017, at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Weldon Cox of Oxly, Mo. Mrs. Pippin was born Nov. 13, 1943 in St. Louis. She enjoyed caring for and spending time with her grandchildren. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, sewing, housework, gardening, and working on the farm. She was of the Missionary Baptist faith...

NEELYVILLE, Mo. -- Ruth Ann Pippin, 73, of Naylor, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017, at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Weldon Cox of Oxly, Mo.

Mrs. Pippin was born Nov. 13, 1943 in St. Louis. She enjoyed caring for and spending time with her grandchildren. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, sewing, housework, gardening, and working on the farm. She was of the Missionary Baptist faith.

Nov. 9, 1962, she married Kelly Pippin in Poplar bluff. He survives.

She is survived by her mother, Ruth Estella Bruner Ferguson, a daughter, Sherry Ann Barker and husband, Bruce of Licking, Mo.; four sisters: Norma Jean Horrocks of Naylor, Pamela Sue Cox of Oxly, Karen Patton of Wichita, Kans. Lisa Frish, of Rolla; a brother, David Ferguson of Woodbine, Md.; four grandchildren: Hannah Rose, Emily Grace Ann, Caleb Matthew, and Zachary Levi; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death is her father, Norman Sidney Ferguson.

Visitation will be from 1 - 3 p.m., Sunday, July 16, at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville. Funeral will follow at 3 p.m. with Elder Larry Edwards officiating.

Burial will be in Anticoh Cemetery following services.
