Ruth Ann Berry-Austin

Ruth Ann Berry-Austin, age 79, resident of Coweta, Oklahoma, formerly of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday morning, May 15, 2020, in Coweta, Oklahoma, surrounded by her family.

Ruth Ann was born Dec. 5, 1940, in Qulin, Missouri, and was the daughter of Arthur Wolters and Dorothy Margret (Garner) Wolters.

She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Coweta. Ruth Ann enjoyed traveling, camping, and she loved spending time with her family. She loved family get-togethers and Christmas was her favorite holiday. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Ruth Ann is survived by her four children, Kaye Fowler, Dennis Berry, Karen Stevens and husband, Joe, and Donald Berry; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Dorothy Wolters; her four brothers, Vernon, Ralph, Charles, and Clyde; and one sister, Linda McGuire.

Viewing will be from 5 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services, 1100 Iron Bridge Road, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, 63901.

Graveside services celebrating Ruth Ann’s life will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Shain Memorial Cemetery in Fisk, Missouri, with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.
