Roy Parson

FISK — Roy Wesley Parson, age 66, of Qulin, Missouri, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2020, at his residence.

Mr. Parson was born Jan. 16, 1954 in Colwich, Kansas. He loved hunting and fishing. His world revolved around his grandchildren.

On Jan. 16, 1984, he married Patricia Donaldson; she survives. Also surviving is his mother, Lora-Bell Parson; two sons, Douglas Ledbetter (LeAnn) and Jeff Ledbetter (Lisa); four grandchildren, Kristen Ledbetter (Sean Kelleher), Tanner, Wyatt, and Aiden Ledbetter; and 14 siblings.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louie Albert Parson, and one son, Greg Ledbetter.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Ash Hill Cemetery in Fisk.
