Ronald Arthur Cummins Jr., 67, of Poplar Bluff, MO, died Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, in Poplar Bluff. Mr. Cummins was born June 1, 1954 in Saint Louis, MO, son of the late Ronald Sr and Virginia Cummins.
Ron graduated from Poplar Bluff High School and attended Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff. He moved to Cushing, OK a few years later to work on the pipeline. He later worked for a close friend who owns PMMI out of Edmond.
He also did mechanical work on the side, and later full time. He enjoyed working on vehicles and boats. While in Cushing, he was very active in the local Jaycees, held various offices and was elected President. He was involved in the Oklahoma State Jaycee organization as well.
He is survived by one daughter who he lovingly referred to as “Pumpkins,” Jennifer (Tyler) Willman, of Cushing, OK; three grandchildren: Tanner, Lucas, and Connor; two brothers: John (Sherry) Cummins of Dallas, TX, Tom (Kim) Cummins of Poplar Bluff, MO; one sister: Pat (Van) Holland of Poplar Bluff, MO; niece and nephews:Lisa, Jason, John, Paul, and Trevor.
He was also preceded in death by one nephew: Phillip Cummins. Graveside services were held Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021at 11:00 AM at Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, MO with Rev Jim Sanders officiating.
