NEELYVILLE — Ronald Glen Ridge, 66, of Harviell passed away Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center at Poplar Bluff.
He was born Aug. 4, 1954, at Dexter, to Vader Ridge and Beulah Lawson.
On Oct. 11, 1975, at Poplar Bluff, he was married to Donna Vandover. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Brandi Wilson of Poplar Bluff, Brian Ridge and wife, Shelli, of Springboro, Ohio, and Erin Ridge of St. Louis; one sister, Barbara Long of Dexter; and four grandchildren, Tyler Wilson, Landon Wilson, Lucas Ridge and Maxwell Ridge.
He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as one sister, Carolyn Hilderbrand.
He attended Pilgrims Rest Church at Fairdealing and had worked as an MRI tech. He graduated from Dexter High School in 1972, where he played football and he was all state kicker. He enjoyed bowling and was known as the fishing guy. He was a regular at the sale barn, flea markets and sports shows and loved helping a child go fishing.
Visitation for Ron will start at 11 a.m. Oct. 7, in the Fowler and Sons Funeral Home of Neelyville, Missouri, with the funeral following at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery with Pastor Ron Payne Officiating.
