Robert McKim Sr.

Robert D. McKim Sr., 72, of Zalma, Mo., died Aug. 30, 2019.

‘Bob’ or ‘Bopper’ McKim was born June 11, 1947 in Bakersfield, Calif. and lived many years in Poplar Bluff where he raised his family, he had his own business, Bob’s Leathercraft and retired from the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center. He was an avid motorcycle rider, was well known for his sense of humor, jokes and big heart.

Bob is preceded in death by his mother, Lois Utnage McKim and his son, Randy McKim. He is survived by his wife, Patricia McKim; his two children, Robert McKim Jr. and Robyn O’Connor; his grandchildren, Shelby O’Connor, Ryan McKim and Devon McKim.

Bob loved his family dearly and will be missed by so many friends and family. A memorial service and interment is being planned at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
