Robert Lawrence Stucker, 75, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Lawrence, the son of the late Clarence and Maggie Vandergriff Stucker of Poplar Bluff, was born June 6, 1942 in Poplar Bluff. He attended Agee Fellowship Church and owned and operated B & H Auto Electric for 45 years. Lawrence proudly served his county in the U.S. Navy. He was past commander of Amvets Post 29 in Poplar Bluff. Lawrence was a member of Masonic Lodge 209; was appointed Moolah Shrine Ambassador in 1995; and served as past president of Three River Shrine Club. He was a Charter Member of Poplar Bluff Elks Lodge, Charter Member of Wappapello Bassmasters and Charter Member of Leroy's Hunting Club in Williamsville.
He married Eva Powell of Natural Bridge, Va., April 1, 1962. She survives.
Other survivors include three children: Robert "Robbie" (Paula) Stucker, Sean (Laura) Stucker and Elayna (Jacob) Voshell; six grandchildren: Amanda (Adam) Brown, Meagan (Dustin) Whitten, Seanny (Matt) Freeman, Rustin Stucker, Maci Stucker and Logan Stucker; seven step-grandchildren, Misty Fields, Haven Flippo and Mandy, Shiloh, Cheyanne, Breonia and Forrest Robertson; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters: June Dye and Carol Stucker of Poplar Bluff; a brother, Danny Stucker of Jackson; and five nieces and three nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A Masonic Service will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral chapel with the funeral service following. The Rev. Jim Schremp will officiate. Interment with full military honors will be at noon Wednesday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
