FISK — Richard “Sonny” Wells, 85, of Clinton, Missouri, formerly of Fisk, joined his beloved late wife Roselle Lee Wells, Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020 at Westwood Living Center in Clinton.

Mr. Wells was born June 5, 1935 in Broseley, Missouri, son of the late Chester and Arinda Wells. Mr. Wells was a truck driver and worked for Valley Steel for 30 years.

He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sonny loved going to the Broseley Senior Center to play bingo and visit with his friends. He never met a stranger.

On Feb. 13, 1954 he married Roselle Lee Faulkner. She preceded him in death Jan. 20, 2008.

He is survived by one son: Richard (Robin) Wells of Clinton; two daughters: Linda (Duane) Nordeen of Poplar Bluff, and Billie (Bert) Warren of Jackson, Missouri; three sisters: Melba (Glen) Sanderson of Farmington, Kentucky, Imogene Branch of Fisk, and Wilma Anderson of Hillsboro, Missouri; six grandchildren: Sara (Tim) Lee, Jeff (Lybby) Mannon, Mark Mannon, Andrew Wells, Justin (Jillian) Wells, Garrison Wells, and 10 great-grandchildren: Mollie Mannon, Preslie Mannon, Lydian Sanders, Layton Sanders, Erik Nordeen, Adam Nordeen, Alexis Spencer, Connor Spencer, Hannah Lee, Cooper Wells, and one due any day.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter: Darlene Wells; and one sister: Karen Maglothin.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Sanders officiating.

For anyone unable to attend, the services will be live streamed on our Facebook page. Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery at Broseley Missouri. Memorials may be given to the Broseley Senior Center.
