DEXTER, Mo. — Richard Magarian, 57, of Dexter, died April 30, 2019 at his residence. Friends may call at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter on Friday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to noon. Funeral services will them be conducted at the Lighthouse Christian Center on Friday, May 3 at noon with the Rev. Tim Russell officiating.

DEXTER, Mo. ­­— Richard Magarian, son of the late Highe Kay Magarian and Carol A. Turner Magarian, was born on July 21, 1961 in Orlando, Fla. and departed this life on April 30, 2019 at his residence in Dexter at the age of 57 years.

Mr. Magarian retired from the United States Air Force in 2000 after 20 years of service. He was a former employee of Gamblin Lumber Company in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

He is survived by his son, Richard Magarian, Jr.; by his daughter, Mina Cennet Ann Magarian; by six brothers, John Phillips of Grand Rapids, Mich., James Magarian of Lavalle, Quebec, Michael Magarian of Dexter, Butch Magarian of Winder, Ga., Jeffery Means of Lowndes, Mo. and Jason Means of Paoli, Okla.; by three sisters, Deborah Smith of Dexter, Laurie Whisenhunt of Nicoma Park, Okla. and Jeanette Dudley of Dexter.

Friends may call at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter on Friday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to noon. Funeral services will them be conducted at the Lighthouse Christian Center on Friday, May 3 at noon with the Rev. Tim Russell officiating. Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.
