FISK, Mo. - Rev. William Edward Dunivan Jr., 70, of Puxico, Mo., died Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Rev. Dunivan was born Nov. 11, 1949 in Cape Girardeau, Mo., son of the late William Edward Sr. and Shirley June Dunivan.
He had worked at Arvin Automotive for 35 years. He was pastor of Walnut Grove General Baptist Church for 34years. He was a volunteer for several years at Camp Allen Christian Youth Camp.
He also enjoyed fishing and driving around the countryside and spending time with his family.
On Feb. 13, 1971, he married Patricia Faries. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons: Daniel Dewayne Dunivan and wife Tara of Evansville, Ind., and Joseph Christopher Dunivan and wife Stacy of Puxico; one brother: James Dunivan of Fairdealing; five grandchildren: Kaitlyn Payne and husband Levi, Christopher Dunivan, Averee Dunivan, Ella Dunivan, AnaLee Jones and husband Aaron; and one great-grandchild: Warner Payne.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2020 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2020 in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Ray Barber and Rev. Kenneth Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Puxico Cemetery at Puxico, Missouri.
