QULIN — Rev. Roscoe Gray of Qulin passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Gray was born July 25, 1936, son of the late Ruby and Emmett Gray. For 56 years Roscoe had preached at many churches in Southeast Missouri. He attended services at Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.
He enjoyed spending every minute with his wife, Ceal Gray, until she left this earth on May 6, 2018. They were married 60 years.
He enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, camping, boating, watching his grandkids grown up and spending time with family. Roscoe is survived by one son, Dooley (Sandy) Gray of Qulin; one daughter, Debbie Shirley of Kennett; two brothers, Frank “Doc” (Sarah) Gray and Ardell (Shirley) Gray; two granddaughters, Angie (Billy) Herren and CeAnn Clubb; three grandsons, Chris (Amanda) Quaite, Jason Lutes and Jasper Shirley; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, George Gray, and two sisters, Effie Anderson and Blanch Green.
There will be a private family visitation and funeral service at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin with burial in Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Malden.
The funeral service will be live streamed on White-Sanders Funeral Home’s Facebook page at 11 a.m. Thursday. The service will remain on the Facebook page for 48 hours.
There will be a public memorial service at a later date.
