Rev. Carl F. Romine, 76, of Ellington, Mo., formerly of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at his residence.
He was born July 3, 1941 in Poplar Bluff. He was the owner of Romine Sales and former pastor of Star Community Church in Fisk and attended the Palace of Praise.
He married Ila Mae Romine Oct. 28, 1989 and she survives.
Also surviving is his son, Frankie Romine (Tilsa);. stepdaughters, Judy Santhuff (Eddie), Cathy Gibson (Newman), Angie Sutton; stepsons, Kenneth Halbrook, Dwayne Halbrook (Darla), Randy Buxton (Stevie) and Rick Buxton (Ranae); brother, Leroy Romine (June); grandchildren, Kevin Romine, Kathie Jane Tipton, Ashley White, Lauren White, Brook-Lyn Romine and Joseph Romine; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Loraine Romine, one brother Alan Romine, and stepsons, Richard Halbrook and Larry Buston.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, March 30 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff with the funeral beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Danny Minehart will officiate. Burial will be in the City Cemetery.
