FISK, Mo. — Rev. Carl C. Brandt, age 95, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Mark Twain Caring Center, in Poplar Bluff.

Rev. Brandt was born December 29, 1923 in Bellflower, Calif., son of the late Albert and Rose Etta (Hanley) Brandt.

He was a retired United Methodist Minister and had served in the Army during WW II.

In August of 1943 he married Lena Ramsey. She preceded him in death on March 19, 1998.

He later married Helen Sparkman.

He is survived by one daughter; Marilyn Whitt of Poplar Bluff, one son; Danny Brandt and wife Dawn of Brandon, Fla., seven grandchildren; Michelle Worley-Hurt and husband Chester, Andre Brandt, Krista Brandt, Michael Brandt and wife Erin, Jennifer Loretta and husband Tony, and Durand and Dani Brandt, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

He was also preceded in death by an infant brother, one son; Melvin Brandt and one great grandchild; Rayni Worley.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk.

Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Vernon Kneir and Rev. Brian Sharp officiating. Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery at Broseley, Mo.
