Phyllis Cayo

Phyllis Ann Cayo, 88, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2020 at her home in Poplar Bluff.

Phyllis was born Aug. 14, 1932 to William Price and Blanche Killian in Poplar Bluff. She married Dana Kaywin Cayo Jan. 17, 1954, in Poplar Bluff.

Phyllis was of the Baptist faith and attended First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. She had many handy work skills such as sewing, knitting, and crocheting. Phyllis was an avid reader and loved her large family very much.

Phyllis is survived by five daughters, Joy (Simon) Harlow-Chalton of West Sussex, England, Ruth (Vince) Cirrincione of Marietta, Georgia, Linda (Denis) Smalley of Navarre, Florida, Beth (Mark) Pipkin of Lenoir City, Tennessee, and Maria Cayo of St. Joseph, Missouri; two sisters, Judy (Ron) Nicholson of Milton, Florida and Carol (Jim) Robertson of Arnold, Missouri; two brothers, Richard (Taka) Price of Tucson, Arizona and Larry (June) Price of Beijing, China; 22 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Phyllis was preceded by husband, Dana Kaywin Cayo; parents, William and Blanche Price; son, Kenneth Cayo; daughter, Rhoda Cayo; four brothers, William Price Jr., Paul Price, Robert Price, and John David Price; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Due to these challenging times brought upon us by COVID-19, a celebration of life service will be held by the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital.
