VAN BUREN. Mo.-- Phillip "P.R." Randolph Hollis, 46, son of Christine (Barton) Cletcher and the late Robert Richard Hollis, was born July 19, 1971 in Prince George's County, Md., and departed this life on May 22, 2018 in Van Buren, Mo.
P.R. had resided in Van Buren for most of his life. He graduated High School from Van Buren in 1989. Then continued his education, and was a graduate of the Nashville Auto Diesel School, and had worked in Dallas, Texas, as a mechanic at the Chevy dealership before returning back home to Van Buren in 2001. P.R. was of the Baptist faith. He was a good natured, fun loving person who was a joy to be around and loved to tell stories. He enjoyed the river, fishing, hunting and loved a good pork chop. P.R. was an excellent mechanic, and was willing to help anyone who needed it.
P.R. is survived by his mother, Christine Cletcher, and step-father, Gayle, of Fremont, Mo.; grandmother, Mary Raemsch of Fremont, Mo.; one sister, Rebecca Joy Arnold and husband, Billy of Edna, Texas; four nephews, Billy Arnold and Derek Arnold, both of Edna, Teas; Tristan Hollis and Conner Hollis both of Van Buren, Mo.; and many relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his father, P.R. was preceded in death by one brother, Michael "Mike" Richard Hollis.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2018 at the McSpadden Funeral Home in Van Buren, Mo., with a visitation starting at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Don Foerster will be officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Site Cemetery in Fremont, Mo.
