Patricia Diane Stamps, 84, of Poplar Bluff, while being sung her favorite gospel songs by her family, entered into her eternal home on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020. She was born April 16, 1936, to the late Thomas Edgar Rocco and Vinetta (Chastin) Rocco. She was of the Pentecostal faith and worshipped her Lord while attending Family Worship Center.
She married her best friend and lifelong love, Gene Stamps. Together they shared a passion for praising God through her piano playing and singing. She was also a member of the Living Way Trio for many years. Patricia’s godly compassion was reflected in her work as she retired from Lucy Lee Hospital as a head of sterile supplies.
Survivors include two sons, Danny (Rich) Stamps of St. Louis and Randy Stamps of Poplar Bluff; two daughters, Sandy (Jimmy) Griffin and Lisa Trainor, all of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Sam Rocco of Clyde, Texas and one sister, Joyce Foster of Poplar Bluff, of which she shared a special bond with both of them. She was well blessed with 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her special son, Rob Chappell (Suzanne) of Poplar Bluff.

A visitation will be held at the Family Worship Center, on Highway 53, Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020 from 5-7 p.m. Services will be located at the Family Worship Center, Friday, Sept. 18, 2020 starting at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bud and Bonnie Goins officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery.
