Patricia Ann Jones, 57 of Wappapello, passed peacefully early in the morning Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019 at Barnes Jewish Hospital accompanied by those she loved.

Patty ‘Pattycakes’ Jones, was born on July 14, 1962 to the late Sharon Williams and Chester Dunlap in Cape Girardeau. She was an event planner and manager at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and former Service Woman of the United States Navy. Due to declining health, related to her congestive heart failure and complications thereof, she retired to home in attempt to regain an enjoyable quality of life.

Pattycakes, was a pillar in her community who was deeply loved by all she touched. With her open heart, carefree enthusiasm and BIG personality; she could light up any room and make everyone laugh and smile. She is survived by her 11 siblings, Paula Jacobson and husband, Bruce, Pamela Andrews, Billy Williams and wife Nancy, Rick Dunlap and wife, Gina, Chester Dunlap and wife, Cresent, Clint Dunlap, Rick Worsham, Rodger Worsham, Bobby Worsham, Cathy Worsham and Tia Gulliam. She has three children, Dustin Pardoe with wife Kessi, Cierra Jones with husband, Bruce Richman, and Derek Jones. From her children she has five grandchildren, Landyn Jones, Austin Payne, Wyatt Richman, Addisen Pardoe and Jayce Richman, these were the pride of her life. Along with two nieces, Jennifer Sharp and Courtney Andrews; plus two nephews, Michael Sharp and Sean Andrews.

There will be a gathering for friends and family to attend at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff, Saturday, Dec. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. To be followed by a short service then Celebration of Life, at the Eagles in Wappapello starting at 3, gathering at the pavilion and moving into the banquet hall. Floral arrangements may be sent to Cotrell Funeral Services in Poplar Bluff. If a charitable donation is preferred, Patty is an animal lover, support the ASPCA in her memory.
