Patricia A. Clayton, 84, of Dexter, Mo., died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018 at Dexter Living Center.
She was born Sept. 19, 1933 in Omaha, Neb. to the late Arthur Gardner and Lela Gross Gardner. She was a long time resident of Butler County.
Patricia was a homemaker. She enjoyed collecting rocks and making clocks.
She is survived by two sons, John A. Clayton (Sherry) of Naylor, Mo., and James N. Clayton (Lee Ann) of Nixa, Mo.: three daughters, Norma Mattingly (Chuck) of Des Arc, Mo., Jenny Hudson (Joe) of Doniphan, Mo., and Martha Clayton of Harviell, Mo.; and one brother, Joseph A. Gardner (Rena) of North Bend, Ore.; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018 at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Elder Robert Duckett will officiate. Burial will be at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
