Nellie Yvonne Stewart, age 82, of Wappapello, Missouri, died Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at her residence. Mrs. Stewart was born August 20, 1938 in Mena, Arkansas, daughter of the late Otis Henry, Sr. and Ardella Miller. She was a member of Lakeland Assembly of God in Wappapello. On April 11, 1959, she married Henry Jay Stewart, Sr. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Henry Jay Stewart, Jr. of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Ronald Cartlon (Joeann) Stewart of Atkins, Arkansas and Kevin Michael (Daisy) Stewart, Sr. of Wappapello, Missouri; 13 grandchildren, Stephanie, Steve, Shawnta, Michelle, Renee, Clifton, Chris, Michael, Rachel, Ashley, Raelynn, Amber, Rebecca, many great-grandchildren and one brother, Otis (Beverly) Miller, Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina.
She was also preceded in death by nine siblings.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 3 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Arvin Haynes and Pastor Scott Reynolds officiating. Burial will be at Portageville Cemetery in Portageville, Missouri.
